Will is Canada's 2010 Road Riding Champion and represented Canada in the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Mel Bernier
Member of the Canadian National Ski Mountaineering team.
Mel continues to perform! After this year's World Champs she is now ranked 9th in the World, moving up from 16th last year. Mel not only won the Canadian National Title, but placed 3rd amongst the men as well! In her "off season" Mel competes in Mtn biking, and last year won her age group in the Gear Jammer & placing 3rd overall Women. Mel is aiming for the podium in the 2012 World Champs and the Europeans better watch out!
Dougal Allan
This season Dougal has proved himself again as a contender in the Coast to Coast, placing 2nd in the longest day, and taking the honour of setting the course record for the fastest bike split into Sumner! His season isn't finished, heading to China with an adventure racing team, and finishing off with the Australasian Multisport Champs. Dougal's potential is huge and he is moving up, so keep watching him over the next few years!
Simone Maier
Ironman Triathlete
After winning her age group in Taupo & winning bronze in Kona Ironman in 2009, Simone had a quiet season 2010. She has now committed to triathlon & multisport, and kicked off 2011 with a gutsy performance in Challenge Wanaka, running herself into 2nd place and suprising her fellow competitors. Simone's talent is huge and her determination on race day will always bring her success. She is off to race her first adventure race in China, and then compete in Challenge Cairns in June. She is another one to watch, as she will only be moving up the ranks into 2012!
